Fishing

I love the brighly coloured fishing boats that you find Greek harbours. We sat and watched the fishermen go out into the bay to fish most evenings. In other parts of the island fishing boats lay unused, left to rot away, a result of EU fishing quotas. According to someone we spoke to who had taken a visit to one of them, they lie as they were left, like museum pieces, even the paper work and bed in the harbour master's office was left untouched in the port they visited.
