Making a wish?

George's party was a great success: the rain even held off until after the barbecue (phew) and everyone seemed to have a good time - George included. Though you wouldn't know it from his expression as he was about to blow out his candles.

Perhaps the responsibility of being two had finally hit him. Maybe he was longing for a moment's peace and quiet. Or could it be that he's realised his birthday was weeks ago?
