Drumming fun

Olivia's grade have been having drumming lessons all week with a visiting artist and today parents were invited to watch and participate. Unfortunately I was teaching but at the last minute I managed to get a colleague to cover my lesson for 15 minutes so that I could pop up to see Olivia. Her face was a picture when she saw me and her teacher very kindly made some space for me beside her so that I could join in. Olivia volunteered to demonstrate a drumming rhythm which she did perfectly. It seems that she has pretty good rhythm and timing (not that I would know anything about that but the music teacher told me that she is very natural).
I really hope she doesn't want to take up drumming!
