Spider

Saw this guy half way up the garden from the kitchen window. Forget the macro lens, I needed a wide angle lens; he was quite large!

He (I am assuming he is a he!) had started building a new web. I took a few photos of him building it which was really quite mesmerising. I took a few photos of him building it, but it was quite difficult as he was a flurry of activity. I also took a few photos of the finished web, but in the end I actually preferred this one.
