Melt Pot Fun

Yesterday i achieved one of my dreams; attending a Suze Weinberg workshop. This lady is one of the most sought after teacher, crafter, bloggers in the craft world.

Always wanted a Melt Pot, got one a little while ago but was afraid to tackle the hot molten liquids as i get shakes/tremors due to medication. Finally got started & made some small items which i blipped a while ago.

Suze lives in USA & occasionally travels to the UK. I emailed her to ask if she was ever going to do a workshop north of Birmingham, imagine my surprise when she said yes! So yesterday was the day i headed off to Craftrange in Burnley.

We had our workshop all day doing beeswax in the morning & UTTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) after lunch. It was so much fun with great people, great lunch & a fantastic venue.

Here are most of the completed projects; some can be used as jewellery some can be embellishments. Each one a gem of a piece.

Suze is already planning her return to Burnley in 2011 & my name is on the list. Suze is an occasional bliper as schmoozings.
