My juniper bush was absolutely loaded with tiny droplets and this feather had also been liberally drenched. This is a six layer focus stack at f2.8, which gives you some idea of how tiny some of the drops are. At least I didn't have to avoid spiders to set up the tripod, although it was challenging to get it into position. This is a full mono version, using 8 layers, thus giving a little more detail beyond the spine of the feather.
I did try for a more colourful blip when I went into town, but to be honest, my heart wasn't in it and the only thing catching my eye was a swan. Beautiful, but effectively white on black...
