Once again I didn't have my decent camera with me at Aida rehearsals today; instead I had to use a little pocket point and shoot. Oh well, the best camera to use is the one you have with you, I guess...

In this scene, Captain Radames is writing a letter to the beautiful slave Aida, who has been kidnapped from her home country of Nubia. Her sadness reflects her knowledge that their union can never be, and only tragedy lies in their future
