Goat and cactus

This little chair is made of cactus wood and goat skin and comes from Venezuela. The seat is just seven inches square. All the hair is worn off the front part of the seat because it was constantly used by the children when they were very small to stand on so that they could see what was going on on the kitchen dresser. After it was no longer needed for that, it was for many years a dolls' chair, and now it is a precious reminder of small children and life in the tropics.
