The Running Cow

Got up this morning to drizzly rain, but by the time we got out of church & headed for breakfast the sun had broken through. Watched the Packers play the Lions--Packers lost! :( Then we left for Lake Geneva, & I saw the running cow on our way. You don't see cows at a flat out run very often--they're more of a "mosey along" type of animal, so I had to get a pic of him---might have been late for his feed! Jen & Joe gave us a 3 day get away at the Geneva Resort as a thank you for "everything you did for us for our wedding", which was really nice. So I may not be commenting too much for the next few days. We've got a cruise of Geneva Lake scheduled for tomorrow, as well as a tour of Black Point Mansion. Lake Geneva was, & still is, an area where the rich of Chicago come to "get away & relax", so the lake is lined with all kinds of mansions. A little above our touch (well, ok, a LOT above our touch) but it's a lovely area & will be fun to explore, as we've never been here before. :)
