Beaulieu sur Dordogne

We drove up the road near to our gite to see the next village called Champagnac La Prune. We had thought about walking there but were very glad we hadn't tried as it was miles away and all up hill!! After lunch we drove to a very humid Beaulieu sur Dordogne. It was a lovely Medieval town that I imagined gets really packed in the summer months. We spent sometime in the cathedral as it was so hot and sticky and heard some rumblings of thunder that didn't amount to anything.
