The Alpine Contrasts ....

..... make your heart beat a little faster when the clouds shift and the light changes. No animals to be seen this morning above the Pierre de Moellé but the mountains alternately appeared and then disappeared, in the unstable weather systems we have at the moment. Large to see the chalets in the greeness.

This evening I received a beautiful present, a book of such beauty that I shall treasure it forever, Eric Dragesco's Instants Sauvages. It certainly puts my attempts at Alpine animal photography in perspective! Anyone who is interested in Alpine wilderness can enjoy these superb photographs, all with shared EXIF data, whether they speak French or not.
