Sunlit poppy

We got a few of our boxes out of storage today including the gardening tools. It felt really great putting them in the shed, a bit like staking a claim!

This sunlit poppy round the back of the shed caught my attention.

Thank to everyone for helping identify the pompom dahlia yesterday. I intend to get more of these in different colours for the garden, I think they are beautiful and a bunch of mixed colours would be such fun!
