Layers in the sunrise

So it was an early start for a trip up North and a rendezvous point in Harrogate at 7am to drop one of the cars.

On the way I was treated to a great sunrise...with some really intense colours. However, what caught my eye was a part of the valley that was brought out in relief by a combination of the low level pinks and purples and the misty haze that had settled there.
