Teenage idol!!

Tonight took me back to my early teenage days as I went to see none other than Nik Kershaw in Hertford.

He was really funny and sang lots of his stuff - old and new. I could still remember all the words to the stuff from nearly 30 years ago.

And I got his autograph. He's not exactly the dark eyed and brooding chap of the Smash Hits posters that used to adorn my bedroom walls but hey ho!

The evening was well and truly made magical by the surprise appearance of Kim Wilde - she's still got it - they sang Kids in America and it was amazing!!!
