Many thousands of visitors flooded our avenue for the "Dollar Stroll," a sidewalk-sale event that boosts the local businesses and organizations. It has become huge, and it includes street musicians and an impressive variety of foods.

We who live here have a love/hate feeling about it. It brings in lots of money, but we're glad when the last one of the season is over and done with.
