The old Thurnham Infants School Building

Looks like someone is finally going to develop the old school building which has lain idle and empty for several years now. It was inhabited a few years ago by a rather disagreeable individual who posted notices to the effect that anyone entering the property is liable to be shot. Since then I gather there has been a bit of wrangling over the nature of the development off the site.

I can't find out much about the building itself other than it featured in the BBC Domesday "Rewritten" project in 1986 before a new school was built in Bearsted. Click here for the link to this particular part of the Survey

Seems like the building itself it to be renovated and a "school lodge" built as well. The building and land were up for sale for over £750,000 but I couldn't find out when this was.
