Sunflower nouveau

It's no wonder that these amazing, dying plants inspired so much art - whole movements in fact. Playing with them in Photoshop, I realise their shapes perfectly encapsulate the Art Nouveau style... sinuous curves, leaf curlicues, a certain elongated plasticity.

Stop me now, it's only a picture for heaven's sake!
