Michaelmas Daisies

Just a blip of some of the michaelmas daisies (and a fly) in the garden. They are at their best right now. Sorry the photo's a bit dark, I forgot to take a blip until it was getting dark!

U3A was interesting this morning. A man told the tale of how he and a group of others travelled overland to Nepal in the 1970s to deliver a Landrover to a hospital for use delivering leprosy drugs to remote areas. They'd gone through France, Germany, Turkey, Iran (where they'd delivered a heart machine to a hospital), Afghanistan, Pakistan, India then Nepal. He told us of some of the many adventures they had on the way.

What amazing lives some people have led!
