tonight

I was having a pretty crappy night at work (more so than usual, haha). Then someone made it better by being a ridiculously nice person, I told him not to but he insisted.

When I got home I sat on the computer to unwind and saw this damn thing. It reminds me of the night I won this (March 2007! so long ago!), possibly the most prestigious award given by the department, and I was at work. I was at work when they called my name and I wasn't there to accept it. I really hate that. When I get angry about my job I think of this and how much I've missed because of work, my current job or another.

But then life goes on and you go back into work the next day.
