GP's sister bought him this for his 70th Birthday, although he didn't particularly like Newcastle Brown Ale. He was a Geordie, but preferred a glass of wine. He used to say that 'Newcy Brown' sent you mad, and that there was a ward of men in Newcastle General who could testify to that!! Don't know if it's true.
