Summer.....

....well not quite but our days are getting much longer and so much warmer, 20C. It was lovely down at the beach today, a slight breeze, the sea calm and blue, I sat for a while and just enjoyed the view.

Woodend Beach is patrolled by professional Lifeguards over summer for six weeks of the primary school holidays. For the remainder of the year the tower is unused. Constructed of treated plywood, heavily galvanised steel and acrylic windows, the ‘Chair’ provides views up and down Woodend Beach while providing shelter and a base for the lifeguards.

Looks like the 'Chair' could do with a spruce up after the uproar of winter storms. The door once had louvers but they are no longer, just fresh sea air drifting through.

I thought I had something else to say but its gone for now............I know, daylight saving comes in this weekend, gosh that came round fast!
