A day to catch my breath!

It's Heritage Day in South Africa, a day to look back reflect on the various cultures which shape this nation, and also a most welcome day off in the middle of a really busy week, I spotted this unusual bougainvillea when I went to collect C from her riding lesson earlier, so striking against the green container.
That horse of C's is so in tune with her and I think is what has pulled her through this challenging time. C was sore after physio and I was a bit concerned but she seems fine this morning. Then home for a sleep and some last minute washing as C packs for a holidays in the USA with her father.
