Karama

This is my precinct - called Karama! I had to drop some trousers off at the dry cleaners and noticed these flags which have recently gone up. I was intrigued! They made the whole area look rather smart; so had to take a closer look... the occasion is for Eid Al Adha which is early next month. They are placed on the boundary of a kids play area and public car park. Around 25 years ago, a school stood here.

And today I marked 1 year of being back at work! Team lunch tomorrow to celebrate!
