Parkin

We're having a McMillan Cancer Coffee morning at work on Thursday at work, and I volunteered to have a go at some baking. This year I decided to try some Gingerbread/Parkin, and this is the result. I'm looking forward to trying some tomorrow, it certainly smells nice and gingery.

It is a bit of an emergency blip as after the last couple of mornings being nice autumnal mornings with nice sunrises and mistiness I decided to set my alarm for half an hour early so I would have chance to get some pics on the way to work, only for it to start raining while I was brushing my teeth!!! I might try again for tomorrow as the forecast is looking better for tomorrow.
