Before the light fades

Trying to finish this evenings spraying before the light fades.Stopped for a blip half way through.
Pansies are selling through OK but we will end up throwing Violas out and we have already passed a lot by.I hate throwing plants out but everything we produce is grown on spec.
I have a new pest to read up on this evening which is building up across the country because of the use of green waste in the compost instead of just peat.We are the only country in the world pursuing this nonsense policy but we have a small but loud and vicious if ill informed green lobby.I suppose everything has its share of nutters. It is so easy to oppose or support policies that do not effect your livelihood.I wish these people were bright enough to consider both sides of the argument.Still all we can do is work within the rules set down by people who know nothing about our job.

A lot of rain last night and early this morning but not a bad day.
