Fontaine du Vaucluse

The village of Fontaine du Vaucluse is listed in the most beautiful villages in France. I can understand why but today it was also one of the wettest. It has been a truly miserable dull and wet day so out visit was somewhat spoiled . The outstanding feature of the village is the river which originates from an underground spring and the flows at spate down the gorge driving various mills on the way .
