Peek-a-boo

It's been a very hot and sunny day here in Turkey.

The girlfriend and I ventured to the İçmeler bay which is located on the Datcha peninsula just around the corner from where we are staying in Marmaris.

We spent many hours wandering along the sea front and in the port area.

First we came along two very cute kittens on the sea wall, then on the walk back we encountered a Tortoise which I had to rescue from walking out onto the main road. My good deed for the day has hopefully saved this little fella for a little while, but I doubt with his awareness he'll see the likes of 100 years old like tortoises can.

The local market was not what we really expected as it was only about 10 stalls, only selling food produce, some of which looked rather good though.
