Honey Buzzard.
WE were on the west coast today and saw this rather large raptor. It came and perched on this rock among the bracken and stayed long enough to get a few shots, but I was on full zoom. I checked all over the internet and could only assume it is a Honey Buzzard. It is slightly bigger than an ordinary Buzzard, which it is what threw me.It is the largest Buzzard with a 60 cm wingspan and is a first for me. So there you have it. Chuffed is the word!
