Modern Art by Dulux

We wanted to get some paint test pots today so we can crack on with the painting while waiting indoors for the electrical and plumbing experts. We couldn't find quite the colours we were picturing and so used the Dulux paint mixing machine. It gives you more shades of a particular colour and even lets you scan something and will try to match the colour.

When we had selected a particular shade of grey (no jokes please) the colour dropped into the pot of white. Well, what a surpise, you could see all the component colours, big splash of yellow and blue etc Then the pot goes into a machine which simply jiggles it about in order to mix the colours in making our particular shade of grey. Fascinating!

This photo is the machine where the coloured blobs of paint drop into the tester pot, clearly sometimes missing!
