Portland Bill!

After a bit of a rainy start, by the time we got to Portland the sun was out and we had a beautiful day for our walk.

We started at the lighthouse right at the tip and did a 6-mile round walk with a stop at a shingle beach down in a cove with quaint beach huts and another short break for our picnic lunch.

There are several old workings like this left from disused quarries. This is early on in the walk and KK is studying our route.
