Sauntered over to taste the delights at Bude’s first Food Festival, an excellent affair. Sampled lots of goodies and were tempted too often. Picnicked on fresh savoury tarts and beer overlooking the beach, a wonderful surf and deep blue September sky with hardly a cloud. Meandered back along the canal where a fishing match was taking place. Stopped off in the bird hide and watched the kingfisher for several minutes.
