Little wren

What is it about birds? I stuck my head out of the door and the garden was full of them. The moment I ventured outside, with camera in hand, they all disappeared.

This little blue Fairy Wren stuck around for a brief photoshoot before flitting away.

It's JL and Rae's birthdays today and whilst I was planting my seedlings and weeding my inlaws' garden, I was thinking about them both and how much I miss them. I am so looking forward to being in NZ again for a week in a week and half for Rae's wedding.
