FILMING ON THE SHORE

Another day out birding and, it's not all about the birding G, to the Broch of Gurness which was very interesting, and wonderfully preserved.

When we got home it was to find a film crew on the shore outside the cottage. The "actor" was the man on the left. Any ideas who?

It is for a BBC2 series, due to be on early next year, about the war, and they are also filming in Edinburgh and Germany. While watching they filmed the man in a blue rowing boat floating off the rocks saying what to do if you see a periscope, hit it with a hammer apparently!
