must hang sally
Today was a day that when your a little girl, couldn't come quick enough, the girls are early birds to say the least but today was extra early in our house hold. they were up and dressed ready to go by 6.30am.
The buzz today, long awaited and harped for horse riding lessons.
My beautiful friend Marty who I have know since we were pregnant with our second babies was very kindly talking them for there very first lesson. The girls were immediately comfortable, and gathered around Marty hanging off every word she was saying.
Bailee was completely smitten with the gorgeous pony called must hang sally, it was beautiful to see her hugging and platting the horses hair, her eyes were sparkling and she had the biggest goofiest grin on her face from ear to ear... finally something that reaches into her and connects.
Lara my other animal lover was equally taken by the lovely little sally, I wasn't planning on enrolling Lara in lessons thinking her to young. However that was never going to be an option once I saw her with the pony and her enthusiasm in being involved. I must admit she looked mighty cute all dressed in her horse clothes sitting on the pony a little pocket rocket with a mischievous grin.
Maddie took to it with caution, playing an observing role happily letting her younger sisters take the front. I could see Maddie thinking, saw her look at the horse hairs on Martys pants and the mud and and and .. Maddie loves to be clean need I say more once on the horse Maddie came alive, she forgot about all the things she was worried about and just lived in the moment, happy smiling, laughing, the change in her personality was amazing. Maddie picked up on what Marty was teaching her very quickly and when she jumped off that horse she was beaming with pride.
Marty has a gift with horses and children we all loved being with her today, the was she talks about horses so passionately is very inspiring, even I am thinking of doing lessons as what girl doesn't like riding horses.
so many amazing shots today
I loved this one pure joy on their faces
