A Gift.

Most people I know would call this a pine tree, and if you could see where it was planted, right on the edge of a retaining wall, you would surely comment that this was a very odd place for us to plant such a large tree.

To me, this tree is a gift from Nature. We didn't plant it, it simply grew. And grew, and grew, and grew some more....we contemplated transplanting it, but I didn't want to disturb the roots. So it has stayed put.

And it continues to grow. It sparkles in both the sunlight and the rain.

We may just expand the retaining wall. I don't want to lose this gift from Nature.
