Happy Anniversary !

Lovely Anniversary lunch at our favourite Thai restaurant. 47 years ago we didn't know of any Thai restaurants, and the only thing we knew about Thailand was that it used to be called Siam and had a King who danced!
Harvey suggests this might be how we look after 47 years .... just hope I'm not the fright he has obviously seen ;-)

I think Siam became Thailand in 1939 after the king decided a better name was needed. In Thai, Siam means dark while Thai means freedom. Not sure if this is entirely true, but came across it somewhere.
