DERELICT THURSDAY

As I was scouting round the remains of this derelict building, a woman looked out of the window of the adjoining property. I waved but she looked suspicious. So, I decided to knock on her door and come clean. I always find the direct approach to be the best. I explained that I wanted a picture of the ruined building for a sort of competition. I find its easier to explain it this way. It turned out she owns the ruined building as well as the house she's living in. She has lived here for over 50 years and seemed hopeful that somebody would eventually restore it to its former glory. I have my doubts!
