The nave at Bayham Abbey

Mrs B describes places like this as "just a pile of old stones".
She is, of course, right. I don't think the same but I've already been allowed to be right twice this week so I must be wrong in thinking that there's more to these places than stones.
The Abbey was founded early 13th century and became a victim of the 16th century dissolution.
