irish apple cake

Over in Faucon most of the day and then came home to bake :) Made soda bread and some irish apple cake. It's the first time I've made this cake. It's a bit bready and because the apples here aren't great they don't bring much taste, just a bit of sweetness. Still, with some custard, it was a bloody good dessert :)
