Fairytale land

Sintra and its mystical hills dotted with fairytale palaces is indeed an extraordinary place with a surreal mixture of history and fantasy and protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

I fell in love with its 'romantic' architecture all set against the beautiful backdrop of the lush mountain.

The Pena Palace was just amazing with a wonderful mix of architectural styles . We then wandered through the winding streets and alleys, lined with the cutest little shops, bakeries and restaurants.
