Student voter registration project

I spent a few hours today at the north campus of our local community college where a group of us tried to ensure that students were correctly registered for voting in the November elections.

There were other booths as well with information that could be of interest to the students and there were lots of students in attendance. The good attendance might have had something to do with the free coke & pizza being given out in the middle of it all!

This is my friend Peter, who talked me into helping out today. I've known Peter since 1976 and although we live in the same town and stay in touch, today was the first time we had seen each other face to face in about 20 years! Why do we let things like that happen?!
