New stuff and tea

Today I wore red trousers and I went shopping. I even took a photo of myself (not sharing) on the way out for posterity to prove I do actually wear colour sometimes even though I'm very very scared of it.
And the shopping bit. Yeah.

Richard had to go to the Apple Store to talk about his badly behaving iPhone. He point blank refuses to buy a new phone and update to a newer version just because that's what Apple want us to do. If the iPhone 4 is really that bad then what the hell were they doing selling it to us 3 years ago, huh?... Anyway, he sulked until they replaced it with an identical phone.

I said I wanted to go with him so I could get a trip to Exeter and we could do lunch and maybe I could visit the Lush store. So we did.
I reminded myself how much I hate modern shopping by visiting a House of Fraser Store and getting out again PDQ, but the trip to Lush was lush, and lunch at the little trendy-if-slighty-hippie-but-in-a-good-way-veggie-even-though-we're-not-veggies-but-I-think-everyone-should-eat-vegetarian-at-least-once-a-week café by the cathedral was scrummy.

As we walked back to the carpark I noticed a lovely smell in the air and thought perhaps another shopper was wearing nice perfume but after a while I realised the smell was following us and it finally clicked that it was me and my bag of new smellies.

Back home my new aspie book had turned up so I sat at the kitchen table with my smellies and my book and a cup of tea and rested my poor blistered feet who are not used to wearing shoes and walking around a city.

The bag on the chair is not new but it's nice.
