Fresh fish for lunch.
This shag definitely had a problem with this flounder. When we went past it in the boat, I made PJ turn around and go back, so I could get some photos. But before we got back to it, it had lost the flounder, then re-caught it.
We must have been near it for about 5 minutes or more getting pictures and the last I saw of it, it had lost it again.
I have only seen this once before, when a shag came to the surface, seemed to toss the flounder in the air, and then swallowed it. Its neck just bulged out either side as it went down the shags throat.
