Well?

A Back Blip. Taken on Wednesday in the late afternoon as I needed 10 minutes outside before heading back into the remains of a whooshy day. Ridiculously busy week so far so a few minutes of peace and quiet outside to eat my lunch seemed advisable. I hadn't taken into account the 10 (almost duck) ducklings who wandered over to discuss their day with me. Their mother stood slightly back watching. The slightly out of focus blip made me laugh - and the 10 minutes was filled with lots of duckese discourse.
These ducklings are very funny and outwit the swan family if anyone is throwing bread for the swans. The ducklings swoop in and grab the bread before the swans even focus on where it is. Saying that the swan family are tolerant and only half heartedly try and nip the ducklings. One of the 10 ducklings is smaller than the rest but is the fastest. She shares her time between the duck family and the swan family and I do wonder if she/he has some identity 'issues'.
