Duck Medley!

Found this trio sitting on the weir at the far end of the lake. They didn't have to contend with much water as it's been so dry, and there's hardly any water flowing over the weir.

There was plenty of wildlife around, enjoying this September warm weather. I saw lots of Comma and Red Admiral butterflies. Honey bees and very large bumble bees were being hunted by a couple of hornets, along with the hovers and even the odd wasp.

I've seen a few more bits of funghi too. It really is Autumn!
