Finch

The finches have been busy at the feeders and this little Lesser Finch was about all I got today, photo wise. Poor Bill has been on Appliance Repair duty these last two days. Those microwaves that do double duty as kitchen fans and are placed over ovens seem to have problems and ours will decide to just quit. We found out that the contacts in the control panel need to be cleaned every once in awhile. This is caused by the steam and cooking oils and such that travel upwards. The fan doesn't quite do the job, and so, the microwave suffers for it. And so does Bill! We have the water to our fridge turned off at the moment, so it's not leaking...but that might have to be dealt with eventually. Such is life in the home ownership department.

When the movie "Gone Girl" ( Ben Affleck stars) came on TV with their advertising, I found out it was from a book, so I ordered it at the library. If you get that book to read, bear in mind it's X rated if that bothers you, but if you hang in there, the second half of the book is like - "Oh wow, THIS just got a whole lot more interesting."

Tomorrow is our 44th wedding anniversary, but no BIG plans. We will save that for next year, God willing and the creek don't rise.
