Field of Poppies

Today my travels took me past the Field of Poppies at the Tower of London.

This is a remarkable temporary memorial to the First World War.

Over 800,000 ceramic poppies have been planted, one for each British and Colonial fatality during the war.

It will be there until early November. Do see it if you can.
