Hawick

Thought Id do something else today ... this is an area of Hawick called Burnfoot .. but thought it showed that Hawick is actually in a valley. This was taken from the center of town as a friend has recently moved to Hawick and I was stuck in his flat waiting for the gas man today.
It turns out he still has no gas as the previous tenant had it cut off and although the meter was reset the landlord had to call an engineer out to uncap the meter. This was simple enough but the gas is not going to the meter but not through it. Hence still no central heating or hot water in the flat. Hopefully all will be resolved tomorrow morning though ... Glad its not my problem ...
