my housemate put my basil plant outside, and it looks a lot happier there than it did in the kitchen. we haven't much of a garden, more a yard, but there are fuchsias and a lilac bush, and a rose plant at the front of the house. pretty different to chez ~annieone :)

after getting actually upset about concert tickets earlier I figured I might be spending a little too much time thinking about work (and watching tv on the internet when not working, as my brain is full of information and needs to switch off). so tonight I am going to have a pizza, with some help from the basil plant, a drink, and a resolution to stop reading at nine o'clock instead of letting my late-night second wind drag me back into it again.

I did end up getting a ticket for the show from another fan whose partner doesn't want to go, so that ended okay too.
