Season of the spiders

As you have probably noticed there are a lot of spiders around at the moment - I like spiders and the one by the kitchen window tends to be industriously rebuilding its web each morning while I make coffee, which provides something interesting to stare at while my brain slowly wakes up. The biggest challenge is trying to keep the number of spider/web/spider on web/web with droplets/etc blips to a reasonable level.
